Lindsay Bayes, Author

Pronouns: she/her

A Canadian west coast transplant, Lindsay Bayes has lived in Sudbury, Ontario for five years after a five-year stint in Glasgow, Scotland. Channelling her love of history and the stars into historical and science fiction novels, she hopes to be querying her first novel in the near future. A Creative in many areas, she can also be found reading, gardening, cooking, and improving her tree pose.

A member of the queer and spoonie (ie.chronically ill) communities, Lindsay writes from within the Robinson-Huron Treaty territory and on the land that is the traditional territory of the Atikameksheng Anishnawbek. Of Métis ancestry, she constantly seeks to better understand her roots.

Lindsay is a member of the Sudbury Writer’s Guild, where she runs fun social media content like Flash Fiction Friday.
